Biography Dr. Eman Nashnush is an active academic and researcher with over fifteen years of experience. Eman is working as a lecturer and a program leader for the foundation year in computer science department. She also leads and contributes to modules within the Computer science program; she works as a program leader for some modules and an academic supervisor for many computer science projects.

She gained a first class BSc(Hons)/ MSc(Hons) in Computer Science from Tripoli University in 2001 and 2009. She also holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Salford in Data mining and Informatics research department in 2015. Her thesis title is “Development of New Cost-Sensitive Bayesian Network Learning Algorithms”. She has introduced new types of algorithms that consider the costs of Machine prediction errors. In 2016 she worked as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) associate and a data scientist between Salford University and a car finance brokerage company, she applied data mining methods for optimizing online car finance brokerage.

Experienced Lecturer at Salford University with a demonstrated track record in Research, Teaching and Administration . She is a very active researcher, and she published her papers in different journals/conferences such as: Integrated Computer-Aided Engineering Journal, Expert System Journal, Advances on Soft Computing and Data Mining conference. Eman has a deep understanding of Artificial intelligence, Machine learning and data mining algorithms, she has good experience in teaching and supervising some data mining projects. At Salford University, she teaches many modules in different levels (Inside Computer Systems, Computer Systems, Database Systems, Programming languages, Linux, Data theory, Data Warehouse) and supervises some FYP and MSc projects
