Biography Nagiet Shaheen joined Salford Business School as a Lecturer in International Business and Strategy in January 2023, currently working as a Programme Lead In International Business Management and a Supervisor for Postgraduate research students. Previously, she worked at University Campus Oldham (Greater Manchester), managing and teaching on various undergraduate programmes. Nagiet has diverse experience working as a ambassador for OET (Oldham Enterprise Trust) supporting entrepreneurs in different industry sectors. She also works as a guest lecturer for MUST (Mirpur University of Science & Technology, Pakistan), delivering talks on western teaching principles and consulting students on international opportunities. Nagiet regularly participates in Women's business networking events and actively participates in new business start ups.

Nagiet's research area is focused on education management with a keen focus on enhancing student experiences in Higher Education in the UK through the lens of employability and graduate outcomes.

Teaching and Learning Nagiet currently works with the Teaching & Learning Committee, and activity engages with practices to support the students learning and employability within higher education. Previously Nagiet has worked on peer teaching development programmes and working with colleagues on developing their teaching practices within a Higher Education setting. She also has supporting the development of the Employability Strategy in HE settings working closely to embed Graduate attributes into teaching programmes.
