Miss Katherine Barr
| Biography | I am a business development and events consultant who thrives in client facing roles. I have a real passion for supporting people and businesses to reach their goals. I have delivered a multitude of different events from start to finish, managed teams of people and built an extensive network across Greater Manchester. The one thing my previous jobs all have in common is the opportunity to work with people. I started my career as a language assistant with the British Council in China and moved on to luxury retail management and business development for a networking organisation. Working internationally has allowed me to develop crucial communication skills and experience many extremely different working environments. After visiting a few textile factories in China, I also developed a deep interest in sustainability, particular in the fashion and beauty industries. I love the challenge of innovating new strategies to help people and businesses connect and then carrying these plans out to the highest standard. |
