Mus’haf is a passionate researcher of FinTech especially interoperability, sustainability and entrepreneurship, accomplished management consultant, financial inclusion and public policy expert and TEDx curator with over 15 years of experience driving positive change for both urban and underserved communities. He leverages his academic background and industry expertise to develop innovative solutions that empower people, promote sustainable economic growth, and bridge the gap between research and real-world impact. Mus’haf, while teaching Economics & Finance at the Salford Business School, Equity Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Lead for the Doctoral School, curating TEDxUniversityofSlaford talks, is also currently in his final year of study for a PhD in Development Economics from the University of Salford. His doctoral research, titled "Exploring the impact of interoperable financial technologies (i-FinTech) addressing supply-side barriers of formal financial institutions promoting financial inclusion for smallholder farmers," reflects his deep commitment to utilizing technology for positive social impact. He employs a qualitative research approach to explore the subjective ontologies of financial inclusion through interpretivist epistemological valued laden axiology. Mus'haf also leveraging his industry experience by sitting in various committees and working groups at the University of Salford facilitating enhanced and improved research experience for both students and staff. Prior to his recent academic pursuits, Mus’haf also serves as a Senior Partner at Khan & Arshad, a prominent Pakistani consultancy firm. He also held the prestigious position of Advisor to the Government of Punjab working and engaging with the political, bureaucratic and international financial donor corners. Mus'haf is also the FLPFI2019 fellow of the prestigious Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy advocating financial inclusion globally. Alongside, he has established a business conglomerate servicing education, health, transport, agriculture and construction sectors. In these roles, he spearheaded high-impact projects focused on financial inclusion initiatives, public transport infrastructure development, and food safety initiatives. Designed and implemented first-of-its-kind ‘e-Credit’ and ‘AYII’ the index based insurance, significantly improving financial security and agricultural yields for small and subsistence farmers and borrowers of the formal financial system. Ensured financial well-being for a government-led public transport project, catering to millions of passengers and mitigating urban congestion. Extended implementation support to the operations of the country's first mobile food testing laboratories, safeguarding food quality across Punjab, a critical food source for the nation. His expertise and interests include financial inclusion, FinTech for development, agricultural economics, rural development, project management, stakeholder engagement, impact evaluation, and public-private partnerships. Mus’haf unique blend of academic rigor, commercial experience, public-sector leadership, and research expertise positions him as a valuable asset for clients seeking to bridge the gap between policy, research, and practical implementation.
