Biography Angel Jimenez-Aranda is an Associate Professor for Digital Transformation at the University of Salford. With a career dedicated to the intersection of management and digital innovation, Angel has over a decade of experience within prestigious health and manufacturing enterprises.

Between 2013 and 2021, Angel worked at the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (STH) managing a project portfolio of digital healthcare technology innovations. The projects were multidisciplinary and with different clinical applications, requiring the development of digital tools complying with medical regulations and embedding them in NHS services to maximise value for patients and healthcare professionals.

From March 2021 to September 2023 Angel worked in a FTSE 250 manufacturing company of construction products as a Digital Innovation Director, being responsible for developing the Digital Strategy and designing and delivering key digital projects on product data modelling, systems interoperability, and digital customer services. This involved managing multidisciplinary teams and acting as a catalyst for change for digital transformation.

His research focuses on the implementation of technology-driven solutions to drive transformational change, adding tangible value for end-users while empowering informed decision-making processes.
