Biography Victory currently teaches within the adult nursing year 2 team and module leads on the establishing integrated nursing practice module within the Masters of Art pre-registration nursing.

With over a decade of nursing experience within acute and emergency nursing and clinical education across different geographical regions starting from Nigeria, The Republic of Ireland and the UK. Victory is passionate about improving the quality of patient care, patient safety and work place equality and diversity. This she aimed to achieve through nursing innovation, research, supporting students in practice as a practice assessor and supervisor and facilitating a decolonized curriculum.

Previous experiences lies within practice education particularly specializes in internationally educated nursing education in preparation for the NMC Objective Structured Clinical Examination, so skilled in scenario building, clinical skill teaching and OSCE delivery. Further roles included, the role of a Charge Nurse in the Acute Medical Unit, Emergency Department senior nurse, orthopedic staff nurse, and clinical lead in general health and maternal and child health.

Victory Served as a Freedom To Speak Up National Guardian, facilitating increased patient safety and inclusivity in nursing practice through working as a Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic lead for Oldham Care Organization at the Northern Care Alliance NHS trust

Victory has led a plethora of small and large projects inclusive of experience sharing on an inclusive curriculum (https://youtu.be/d0oRVVaEdig?si=evRvRpp_f95qn3rB), Introducing and developing a feedforward feedback tool kit both in clinical practice and practice education to promote positive feedback in practice. In addition, Victory wrote a blog on "Speaking up for patient safety by Minority group staff" for the NCA.
Further Projects includes; An ethnographic study on "Co-modifying Diversity in Higher education" telling the story of migrants nurses leading unto migrant workers in the UK.

Current projects includes an ethnographic documentary on "the experiences of early career nursing academics", "Co-developing a CPD/Podcast on Unintentional discrimination in our curriculum"

Research Interests: decolonizing the curriculum, Inclusive Nursing practice, Enhancing patient safety through increased speaking up cultures of Minority nurses, Prevalence of Chronic diseases in Nigeria and co-relation to life style, Dementia and socialization, Correlation of childhood obesity to weaning choices and early development of eating habits, Life course approach and impacts on physical, mental and behavioral health.
