The aim of this study is to develop urinary incontinence (UI) education for nurses working in hospitals. This is to increase hospital nurses’ knowledge and understanding of older women’s UI to 1) improve women’s experiences of continence care, 2) reduce hospital acquired harm (rates of falls, pressure ulcers and catheterisation), 3) improve nurses understanding of appropriate pad usage, 4) improve nurses knowledge of required continence care cultural adaptations to meet the needs of women from different backgrounds.
