Talk synopsis: Sedentary behaviour is known to be associated with a number of health-related outcomes. However, due to changes in how we work, rest, and play, we sit for much longer periods compared to our ancestors. This presentation will discuss the ubiquitous behaviour of sitting time, how much is too much, and what small things we can do to change our sitting behaviour.
Event synopsis: The conference is crafted for Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) passionate about public health and aims to provide insights on the collaboration between public health experts and AHPs, with a focus on addressing health disparities.
