The Jews of Bridgnorth

Abstract
To mark the 750th anniversary of the expulsion of the Jews from Bridgnorth (2 October 1274), I gave a talk at St. Leonard's Church in Birdgnorth as part of the commemoration. Having been established in 1267, the Jewish presence in the town was relatively short lived, and most of what we know about the Jews there comes from the events surrounding the expulsion. Even so, I provided an overview of the sources, as well as providing a more nuanced discussion of the expulsion itself.
