Abstract

'Neo Soul Special' is a creative mash-up and rearrangement of 3 Neo soul tracks: Jill Scott (Live)'s 'A Long Walk', Angie Stone (Live)'s 'Wish I Didn't Miss You', and Jill Scott (Live)'s 'Golden'. The idents have been produced in Procreate for iPad Pro, composited in Photoshop and animated in Adobe After Effects. The artwork was inspired by Manchester Northern Quarter's 'Night and Day' bar which was being petitioned for against closure during the time of the release.
