IMMERSE - Sound and Vision

Abstract

Sound and Vision is an hour-long performance by Robin Dewhurst and Adelina Court. The performance involves 4 sketches produced live to improvised music played on the keyboard by Dr. Robin Dewhurst. The performance took place in Media City UK's Digital Performance Lab and was recorded on a GoPro and a standard DSLR camera, capturing the interactive and reflexive nature of the performance where a musician is driven by a visual produced in front of them and vice-versa.
IMMERSE was part of Salford University's Research Festival in summer 2019.
