Abstract
The conviction for perjury has destroyed Lord Archer's political career. Many years' efforts to avoid being discredited and surrounded in scandal came to nothing. But the plot and the narrative he created with his own life is good enough for another bestseller. And knowing Jeffrey Archer's talents for spinning a story into a money maker – this is likely to happen next.
