Abstract
How to be a Muslim in Europe? How to live in Europe with Muslims? There are about 10 million of them in Western Europe. But this is not a cultural monolith - the only thing unifying it is their pervasive feeling that they do not feel at home wherever they are in Europe - and Europe feels ill at ease with them, especially after what happened in the US on 9/11. The chasm widens, and the tension is growing. Let us look what this is like on the example of Great Britain (2-3 mln of Muslims) and Germany (3 mln).
