Can We Talk About Death?

Authors
Abstract
Building on previous research in The Death Dinner Project: A study of the efficacy of autobiographical performance to provide a prompt for conversations on death and dying, this project explores the adaptation process undertaken to develop intimate performance into a communal performance event. Can We Take About Death adapts the autobiographical performance material used in the Death Dinners to create a performance supported with verbatim material gathered from the original dinners. It does so to create a further prompt from discussions on death and dying.
